Operator and scope

ClaimBell is operated by WaveApp LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. This notice applies to the ClaimBell web, mobile, desktop, server, email, and optional local-tool experiences.

Data categories and purposes

We process account and authentication details; family workspace records; names, relationships, birthdays, email addresses, and phone numbers for people and recipients; dates, jobs, reminder schedules, delivery and consent records; device and session identifiers; purchase and entitlement records; support messages; and limited usage, security, and diagnostic events. We use this data to provide, synchronize, secure, support, and bill for ClaimBell, send requested reminders, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Family people and contact birthdays

A family member may add information about people who do not have ClaimBell accounts. The person adding it must have authority to do so. Contact access is optional: ClaimBell imports only the contacts a user selects, presents them for review, and stores only the selected fields after confirmation.

Local tools and device storage

Local tools and offline clients may keep source files, cached family views, session credentials, and continuity records on the device. They are transmitted only when the user signs in, imports, synchronizes, or uploads. Users should protect shared devices with operating-system security and sign out when finished.

Reminder delivery and consent

ClaimBell may send app push notifications and transactional email reminders, invitations, receipts, and digests. Firebase and Resend receive the destination, device token, and message data needed to deliver them. A person without an account must be given a consent and unsubscribe path before external reminders are sent; a family member cannot override that person's revocation.

Service providers

ClaimBell uses WorkOS for authentication; Firebase for push delivery; Resend for transactional email; PostHog for privacy-bounded product analytics and OpenTelemetry signals; Sentry for sanitized error diagnostics; Cloudflare for DNS, edge delivery, and security; and RackNerd for infrastructure hosting.

When purchases are enabled, RevenueCat processes mobile-store purchase and entitlement data, and Stripe processes web checkout, subscription, and payment data. ClaimBell does not receive or store full payment-card numbers. These providers process data only for the described service, their legal obligations, and their published terms.

Analytics and diagnostics

PostHog receives internal random identifiers and a small allowlist of product events; autocapture, session replay, heatmaps, advertising, and family-content properties are disabled. Sentry receives sanitized error type, route, release, and stack-location metadata; request bodies, account details, tokens, family content, breadcrumbs, replay, and default PII are removed. ClaimBell does not use this data for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Retention and deletion

Active account and family data is kept while needed to provide ClaimBell. Account deletion immediately anonymizes the account email and external identity in the primary application database and revokes its sessions and devices. Shared family records remain under the family owner's control until the family or those records are deleted.

Deleted family records become unavailable in the product immediately. Residual copies may remain in encrypted rolling backups retained as 7 daily, 4 weekly, and 6 monthly snapshots, so the last backup copy may remain for up to six months and is not used except for disaster recovery. Delivery-consent, security, fraud-prevention, billing, tax, and transaction records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary or legally required. Provider-held data follows the same deletion request where applicable and the provider's contracted retention schedule.

International transfers

ClaimBell is operated from the United States and its providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, transfers rely on contractual protections, recognized adequacy mechanisms, or another lawful transfer mechanism provided by the relevant service provider.

Your rights, export, and deletion

Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, portability, or deletion. Family data can be exported from Settings > Data and privacy. Account deletion is available there and at claimbell.com/account/delete. Privacy requests may be sent to [email protected]; identity verification may be required.

Children and family data

ClaimBell accounts are for adults age 18 or older and the service is not directed to children under 13 or the equivalent minimum age in their country. Adults may enter a minor's family information only when they have authority and a legitimate family purpose. ClaimBell does not profile minors or use their data for advertising. Contact [email protected] to request removal of a minor's information.

Security

ClaimBell uses encrypted transport, access controls, verified sessions, tenant boundaries, least-privilege service credentials, signed action links, audit and consent records, backups, and operational monitoring. No service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly and do not share invitation, consent, or action links.

Sale, advertising, and legal disclosure

ClaimBell does not sell personal information, use third-party advertising SDKs, or share family content for behavioral advertising. Data may be disclosed when required by valid legal process, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice.
