Why a subscription instead of a one-time purchase?
ClaimBell runs servers that schedule and deliver your reminders even when your phone is off, and sync your family across devices. Those have ongoing costs. What we won't do: ads, selling data, or moving free features behind the paywall later.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your data stays viewable and exportable. Pro-only delivery stops, and you choose which 5 items stay active on the free plan.
Does my family really not need the app?
Correct. Family members you add as recipients get email reminders with a secure link to confirm receipt or mark something done. They never create an account. (They can install the app later if they want to edit things too.)
How do lunar-calendar birthdays work?
You enter the birthday in its original calendar (e.g. Chinese lunar 九月初九). ClaimBell computes the correct Gregorian date every year — including leap months — and shows you the resolved date before saving.
How do I know a family job is moving forward?
Open the job to see whether it is waiting to be claimed, claimed, confirmed, or done. Family members update it themselves with one tap on a secure link — no app or account needed.
What about privacy?
No ads, no data selling, no precise location collection. Birth years are optional. You can export or delete everything at any time.
